Commercial foldaway blinds have drop forged arm parts for added strength in windy conditions (Air craft undercarriages are drop forged). Normal cast aluminium used on most foldaway arms will shatter. Full cassette foldaway awnings semi-cassette electric radio controlled with remote operation handset on wall switch. Sun/wind automatic operation available for foldaway awnings. Linked blind operation available. A vibration sensor can be fitted to front rail to detect violent movement and take foldaway awning back into boxing.
