Job: Traditional Victorian Awnings
We worked with a designer for this restaurant in London. We specialise in bespoke awnings and have been making the Traditional Victorian Awning for many years. On this project, the designer wanted us to manufacture wooden boxes and metal front profiles with end finials. They chose black for the metalwork and a caramel coloured acrylic material for the covers. Our team at Radiant has been making these awnings in our factories for many years. Whilst trends have changed over the decades, these awnings have remained a constant. We still use traditional methods but have incorporated some modern technology and ideas but essentially the Traditional Victorian awning remains a similar product to the one originally manufactured by the early blindmakers.
