Traditional Victorian Awning Recover – Covent Garden

Traditional Victorian Awning Recover – Covent Garden

Don’t you just love the signwriting on this one, so eye catching and fun.   We were asked by Brompton Cycles to recover their two traditional Victorian awnings and the finished product is a great representation of this iconic brand.  The location of the flagship Brompton Junction on Long Acre, Covent Garden is the site of the workshop from where Britain’s first hobby-horse bicycle was made and sold.   The London store is also known as Brompton Junction 18, as it is the home of the eighteenth bike from the initial production run of 400 Brampton’s made in 1982.  It makes you proud to be British.
